Martine is an experienced and well certified fitness professional who has a passion for health and fitness, and for helping people achieve their ultimate goal(s).
She believes exercise is for everyone and each client is different. She will help you find what nutrition and exercise plans work for you. She will also teach you safe and effective exercises through great technique and superior form in a fun and enjoyable manner.
She stresses the benefits of exercise and how strength, flexibility, functional training and proper nutrition can lead to a better appearance and positive outlook.
Everyday she helps improving her clients’ quality of life by being a teacher, a mentor, a motivator, enthusiastic, patient, persistent, prompt, empathetic, and compassionate.
She not only wants to see her clients achieve their goals but look and feel their best, and develop the self-confidence needed to take control of a happy, healthy lifestyle.

“Reveling in teaching fitness classes, particularly those centered on dance, Sarah is known by clients and colleagues for her enthusiasm about classes geared at cardiovascular and strength endurance. Teaching a multitude of formats from Bootcamp to Zumba throughout the DC metropolitan area, she strives to motivate all who attend her classes to focus on their personal best, all while engaging class attendees as a group and promoting an energized, cohesive environment.
Sarah’s passion for teaching dates back to her college days. After being immersed in a world of dance performances and practices for years throughout high school and some of college, she turned to dance fitness classes as a means to continue being active when her schedule no longer allowed for long practices and performances. In becoming a student, she attended classes so regularly that she decided to give teaching a shot. Six years later, she enjoys it just as much as she did on her first day of teaching.
In her spare time, she enjoys running, having completed several 5Ks, 10Ks, and the Army Ten Miler, attending concerts, reading historical fictions, as well as taking a wide array of fitness classes. Sarah is a Zumba-Certified Instructor, AFAA Primary Group Exercise Instructor, and NASM Fitness Nutrition Specialist.”

Ana is originally from Peru. Music was part of her life since a very young age, and was raised enjoying different rhythms from around the world. She has always loved dancing, working out, and helping others. In 2010, while going through a lot of stress and depression, she was introduced to Zumba. The music, the movements, the energy, meeting new people made her fall in love instantly! Doing what she was passionate about was the best therapy and became her new “addiction”.
She is determined to live a healthy lifestyle and motivate, encourage and inspire others. She is ready to travel with you around the world through music and movement – easy, fun and different!
Dr. Okorie is a board-certified physician in internal medicine with more than two decades of experience. He received his MD from the College of Medicine in Enugu, Nigeria and completed his residency at Howard University in Washington, DC. He did one year of fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center before deciding to shift his focus to urgent care medicine and primary care.
He is also licensed Aviation Medical Examiner by the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) and a designated Civil Surgeon under the U.S. Citizenship Immigration Services (USCIS).
Dr. Okorie prides himself on treating all patients with the utmost compassion and care. He enjoys mentoring staff and colleagues, as he believes that the primary job of a good leader is to be a good teacher.
